Additional Blanket Making days will be announced as they are scheduled. What is the difference between meetings and Blanket making days, you might ask…? Meetings are much shorter and scheduled out for every other month. Meetings are always at First Church. At meetings we collect donations, label and sort for delivery. In 2025 we are going to add a blanket making theme to the day and have a “show and tell” portion to our meeting where we can enjoy sharing our creativity with others. At Blanket making days we reserve space somewhere and then everyone brings their supplies and we enjoy each others company while making blankets.

 

Here are the themes and or color schemes for blanket "show and tell" designed to challenge our creativity. At every meeting we will have some supplies to share that relate to the next scheduled theme.

• January- Teddy Bears or Browns and Blues

• March- Spring Flowers or Yellows and Purples

• May- Construction/Farm or Greens and Oranges

• July- Patriotic/First Responder/Military or Red, White and Blue

• September- Letters and Numbers or Primary Colors

• November- Match a Children’s Book.
