Upcoming Blanket Work Days

  • Friday January 9th 10-2 at North County Regional Library 16500 Holly Crest Lane, Huntersville NC 28078

  • Tuesday January 20th 10-2 at SouthPark Regional Library 7015 Carnegie Blvd, Charlotte NC 28211

Please plan to bring your own projects to work on.  Generally, there is plenty of fleece, yarn and fabric available to work with as well.  Iron and cutting stations will be available for you to use.  Accuquilt will be brought upon request.  Let Pam know ahead of time if you're bringing your sewing machine so that we can provide a space near a plug for you.  If you have any specific needs for a project that your working on please also request it ahead of time and if we have it in our stash I'll bring it with your name on it!

Our Mission

​

  • Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”

  • Provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
